East Downtown: converted warehouses, new townhomes, and a short walk to Shell Energy Stadium.
East Downtown sits just across the freeway from downtown, in what used to be a warehouse district. Today it is a mix of converted buildings, newer townhomes, breweries, restaurants and murals.
Shell Energy Stadium, home of the Houston Dynamo and Dash, anchors the neighborhood, and the EaDo/Stadium METRORail station connects you to downtown and beyond. Toyota Center and Discovery Green are a short walk west.
A lot of EaDo is new construction, so it is worth comparing builders, warranties and HOA details carefully. Ask me what is coming soon before it hits the public sites.
